![]() ![]() The list indicates the broad employment category, but not all employments which come into these categories are necessarily ineligible for employment permits. The Ineligible List of Occupations is organised using the Standard Occupational Classification system (SOC 2010), a system which classifies workers into occupational categories for the purpose of collecting, calculating, or disseminating data. This list is effective from 16 December 2022, when SI 677 of 2022 came into effect. This list is set out in Schedule 4 of the Regulations.
